Bark & Brew Promotional Plan at Boston University

In my Digital Media & PR course, we were assigned a final project to come up with a unique business and create a promotional plan. My team and I created Bark & Brew, Boston’s first-ever dog café, which aims to create an environment where customers not only enjoy the company of their four-legged friends but also forge lasting connections with fellow dog enthusiasts in the Boston area.

The goal of Bark & Brew is to be more than just a cafe – but a gathering place where the love for dogs serves as a common thread, welcoming a community of individuals who appreciate the joy and companionship that dogs bring to our lives. Bark & Brew aims to create a dog-friendly space where both dogs and their owners can socialize, relax, and enjoy each other’s company. By prioritizing the comfort and happiness of our four-legged friends, Bark & Brew aspires to establish a unique haven that promotes positive interactions and provides a platform for fostering a strong sense of community among dog lovers.

Our promotional tactics included a variety of paid, earned, owned, and shared media, as well as social media content, website designs, SEO plans, and influencer outreach. Furthermore, our presentation included organization goals, buyer personas, messaging, and success measurements.
